Environmental Cooling System (ECS)
Monitoring air flow in aircraft ECS is critical to ensure the adequate cooling of critical areas, such as, the avionics manifold. vent-captor is typically installed in the secondary air supply lines that lead to the avionics manifold, cargo areas and main cabin. The solid state output can be set over a wide flow range from 0.25-100 SPPS.

Lube Oil Flow Detection in Compressor Lines
weber Sensors has a long history of detecting lube oil low flows in the steel industry. Many applications exist outside this industry like the monitoring of critical oil lubrication to large compressor systems.weber's in-line model 4320.1 flow-captor, is the best choice for this requirement. Euro-style rack mounted electronics is also available, if desired.

Laser Cooling Systems
weber's non-intrusive flow-captor is ideally suited for monitoring the loss of cooling fluid in laser cooling systems. Locate the flow captor downstream of the housing containing the laser chamber and flash tube. The flow-captor will alarm at a pre-specified flow set point & indicate temperature, if desired, for over temperature protection.

Weapon Cooling Systems
In weapon systems that are liquid cooled with fresh or salt water, a flow sensor is used to detect a loss of cooling water in the event a filter, or valve becomes clogged. Model 204/4050.31 flow-captor, is well suited & is available in exotic alloys suitable for salt water service.

Oil Cooling Systems
Model 4204/4050.31 flow-captor monitors critical transformer cooling oil flow rate, and temperature on high speed train. flow-captor is ideal because of its dual output capability, permitting the monitoring of flow rate and temperature of the dielectric heat transfer cooling oil.

Engine APU Water Cooling Systems
flow-captor detects a critical no-flow condition immediately after a fan belt fails on the 4.108 engine APU. Loss of drive to the water pump will cause a no flow condition, which is detected by the flow-captor.
